Crypto Debit Card, Pwede ba yun?

Now a days, marami ng gumagamit ng credit cards at debit cards na issued ng mga known banks sa ating bansa.  Maganda din kaya kung may isang bank na mag adopt sa crypto at mag offer ng debit card to be used for any transactions.  Open to all ang debit card na ito na maaaring gamitin sa kahit anong establishment at services, public man or private.  Pwedeng ipang bili ng card to ride the MRT or LRT, ride the Metro Express bus using it.  Going to a spa, gym or beauty treatment at swipe lang ng swipe.  Going out of town for a vacation or just long week end with family or friends, pwedeng gamitin to buy Airline ticket or by sea travel.  When you reach your vacation destination, you could just swipe again to eat at your restaurants or choice or to pay for your hotel room.  Going for a bar hopping or just having cappuccino sa favorite mong coffee shops.  Anything you could ever imagine para magamit ang debit card na ito.  Convenient di ba?  You just have to buy crypto by just reloading your card.  The only issue is, the value fluctuates, good if the value rises up and bad if it subsides.  Ok sana kung pwede yun di ba?

Para saaking opinion, satingin ko hindi! mahirap yang mangayari dahil hindi stable ang value ng isang coins. ma lulugi yung company o yung stablisment. Maganda sana yan kung mangyayari, mapa dali nalang yung lahat ng transactions at hassle free pa. Higit sa lahat yung oras mo hindi masasayang.

Paki basa na lang ulit yung white paper ng bitcoin, bakit sakaling malinawan ka. Baka mo pa kakailanganin idaan sa bangko kung magbabayad ka ng crypto para sa isang serbisyo? E yung bitcoin ay pwede na mismong pangbayad. Kaya nga ginawa ang bitcoin para hindi na dumaan pa sa kung sinong pilato ang pambabayad mo, straight na ito sa receiver. Peer to peer nga eh. Hindi Peer to bank to peer.

A few years ago, not sure if it was last year but CoinsPH offered a virtual credit card which you could load either through 711 or use bitcoins that you earned. The issuing authority of it, I think it was a Bank in Europe and they are abiding to the laws with anti-money laundering thing. I’m not sure of the real issue but it was effective back in the day.

Tingin ko pwede yan pero sa ngayon e kailangan mo munang iconvert yung bitcoin into php. Alam niyo naman siguro ang app na coins.ph at diba may bitcoin dun, alam niyo din na pwede magload ng beep card gamit ang coins.ph kailangan ay may nfc ang inyong mga phones para gumana ito. Ganito ang mangyayari, yung bitcoins na matatanggap niyo ay pwede niyo ilipat sa coins.ph pagkatapos pwede niyo siyang iconvert as pesos tapos loadan niyo ang beep card niyo kung meron. Kaso lang ang beep cards ay accepted lang sa lrt/mrt, family mart at p2p buses at etc.

Yes marami na nagiindicate ng crypto as a debit card and they doing great in terms of usability. Like Tenx and QuickX ang isa sa mga pinakamalaking company na may proyekto ng crypto debit card. Kayang kaya naman iimplement lahat yan ng walang nagiging problema sa transaction.

Ang alam ko may mga company abroad na tumatanggap ng debit or credit card as a payment sa pagbili ng crypto kagaya ng Changelly, Coinbase, Cex.io, Coinmama etc. Pero dapat naka visa or mastercard yung debit or credir card mo para magamit globally.

Posible ang ganyan na set-up...debit cards aligned with cryptocurrency. Dito sa atin, sa aking nakikita ay darating ang panahon na ang mga bangko mismo ang gagawa ng ganyang produkto dahil sa lumalawak na market ng cryptocurrency. Now, am hoping that Coins.Ph can offer the same in the near future as they already have the technology and the expertise as well as the name to do such a project. The Traxion project which is Philippines-based will hopefully include this as part of their menu in the near future. Having a debit card connected with cryptocurrency can be convenient and easy for us to use as a payment gateway.

Sir I think its just fine na magkaroon ng debit card, para kapag yung gusto mong paggamitan ng bitcoin pero hindi sila nagttransact using bitcoin ay magagamit mo yung debit card mo as an easy way to exchange nalang. Let say you want to buy something but virtual currency cannot buy that so kailangan nyo pa pong mag exchange ng currency kaya I think pwede rin po yung debit card to ease the process.

I think that it is impossible for now to make it more usable when using debit or credit cards since bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency is still in its infancy stage. Secondly, not all of us are aware that bitcoin truly exist even our government are still investigating the use of cryptocurrency here in our country.
