Hello BC'ers

im trying to install the BC client on my mac but i seem to be having some problems,

Im following this guide HERE but im stuck at step 5

upon submitting "-pl < mac-svn-75.patch" my terminal just returns "-bash: -pl: command not found"

any pointers has to what im doing wrong?

If you only need to run the BC app, you can download the binary from http://www.bitcoin.org/

(Looks like you are trying to compile the source yourself which is not needed if you download the binary)

Thank you, but i now have another problem,
seems today the BC client is not connecting to the network,
but it was yesterday  Huh

Upon clicking generate coins the bc client says "(not connected)"
