Hello!
I followed this guide to setup my xubuntu 12.10: http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/1fb5qs/step_by_step_headless_linux_setup_from_scratch/

Although aticonfig --list-adapters gives me the correct output:
Quote
No protocol specified
* 0. 01:00.0 AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
  1. 04:00.0 AMD Radeon R9 290 Series

* - Default adapter
i do not know why my cgminer does not detect the GPUs.

When i type ./cgminer -n i get
Quote
[2014-02-22 00:58:11] CL Platform 0 vendor: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
 [2014-02-22 00:58:11] CL Platform 0 name: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing

 [2014-02-22 00:58:11] No known USB devices

Can someone help me? Sad

If memory serves me right, error -1 is driver error. Try installing 13.12: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Linux%20x86_64 (if you're using 64bit)

Did you try 13.12 or did you jump right into the beta drivers?

Also, post your settings here.
