That's actually pretty hard for me to imagine actually. Let's make it a bit more 'abstract'. If there were inside America, if police put you in protective custody after your father was murdered by police, and you had family that was safe and entirely unrelated to the murder; why wouldn't you want to go live with family? Why should we allow the
police to
protect you?
