[HELP] p2pool fee

Hi guys,
can someone explain to me how does the fee generation in p2pool work?
I looked at my pool and only two biggest miners had over 6k reward from the last block, but the p2pool sent me only 30 coins of fee (I have 1% fee set).
Also the fee comes and goes in batches (two hours it comes with every block - than nothing for few hours), whilst I have a constant (rather growing) minig power.
