It's a known fact that most youths look up to a celebrity figure. Is it right for a celebrity to post artwork/ media (songs, videos, album covers, movies)that glorifies the use of drugs?

I think celebrities need to own up to their responsibilities and acknowledge how many individuals look up to them. By posting photos of drug usage, they advertise drugs as something cool. Why I personally don't care if celebrities drug because it is their decision to make,  I think they need to be more responsible in advocating drugs to their followers.

The youth of today observably idolizing celebrities through their music, movies, television shows, vlogs, blogs, and any medium of any means they can connect to the youth and other people and deliver the message they want to express to the world. But what if these messages contains glorification of drugs? Does it have an impact to the youth? Well, definitely yes. If a youth is idolizing a certain celebrity, then there is a higher chance or probability that they can acquire the habits and thoughts and the way their idols think. Celebrities serves as an example especially to the youth, therefore, they can probably imitate the deeds of their idols. However, I think that the youth of today has the ability to filter what they acquire and think for what is right.

I think celebrities often misuse their 'power' over the young generation. I am sure they are aware of how much influence they have but for the most of them, they want to look cool or jump on the bandwagon to make sure they keep their stars shining. At the same time, it is also the responsibility of parents to make sure that their children are grounded in morals that they would be proud of. This would give kids a good head on their shoulders and not easily swayed by external factors.

You're at your most impressionable at a young age. So of course it has a big influence on a good portion of them.
