I have a BitCore wallet from 2013.  I have the wallet and backups.  I moved the balance out a couple months ago, after I got active following years of ignoring crypto.  Needless to say, I missed the fork (BCH as well as others).

I've looked online and I can find ways to claim BCH if the BTC is in your wallet but nothing about my case...which might be bad news...

I'm wondering if this is possible and if so, how.

Thanks.

You should move this to the altcoin section.
Yes you can. So long as you have access to the private key you can import it or sweep into another account.
There are many other forks too, including BSV / BCHA and others.
Just in case something goes wrong, you should start with the most valuable forks and work your way down in value.

Thanks for the info.

Can you point me at the directions to move to alt-coin? (I'm new here)

Thanks.
