So I purchased bitcoins through the exchange and downloaded Armory without knowing I had to download Bitcoin Core for Armory to connect to the blockchain. I generated the adress and sent the bitcoins to Armory. I later learned that Armory was offline and I had to download Bitcoin Core (so I did) and when it came to downloading the blockchain it took around 20 hours and it still had a long way to go so I gave up on that. I have an Electrum wallet and I want to send the bitcoins there. I already verified the transaction went through on blockchair.com and I have the seed for my Armory wallet's backup. How can I transfer my bitcoins to my Electrum wallet if my Armory wallet is offline?

Open electrum, click on new wallet> standard wallet> i have seed> put the armory seed> click options, tick bip39> click next and the coins should show up.

Alternatively, you could try this: open armory, click on Wallet Properties or double click on your wallet to open your Wallet Properties, then click Backup this wallet>See other backup options>Export Key Lists then click the button Export Key Lists. Enter your passphrase and Armory will show your wallet's list of public addresses and private keys. If you are --offline or didn't download the blockchain, the list may be empty, but checking "include unused" will allow you to see the entire list

After that, then go back to electrum, click on new wallet> standard wallet> import private key> input the private key and click next. the coins should show up

When I try to input the private key on Electrum the next button doesn't work. It stays grey and can't select it. Could I be doing something wrong? Do I copy the whole private key?

Sorry for not getting back to you promptly on the other thread - volunteer support and all that.
For Electrum you need to input the line that starts with PrivBase58 with no spaces (and don't include "PrivBase58:" itself).
Armory has an option to "Omit spaces in key data" which will make that easier.
Ideally just the one line that corresponds to the receive address you used.

If that works, Electrum should display your address and balance quickly after.

No problem! I was able to transfer to my Electrum wallet! Thank you very much you were of so much help! I was so worried that I had lost the money. If there is anything I can do or if you want a tip I would be glad to transfer you some.

Your solution to:
Open electrum, click on new wallet> standard wallet> i have seed> put the armory seed> click options, tick bip39> click next and the coins should show up.
will never work. Armory does not use BIP39 compatible seed mnemonics... in fact, it doesn't even really used seed mnemonics at all. It has a proprietary "root key" system, that functions a bit like a seed mnemonic but consists of just random characters, not words, and is not BIP39 compatible.

He also asked for clarification of your 2nd solution (which was somewhat incomplete) to which you never responded. Roll Eyes
