Developing coins require a lot of skills at the same time intelligence. For someone new, it will be a difficult task to perform. Doing it alone will lead to errors. The best alternative would be to seek guidance from someone who is actively engaged in this field.
there aren't many willing to help... most discords for coins say "we don't have the resources to help you, you're on your own" and any developer I have approached has responded with ".5BTC and i'll do it all for you"
I have some decent coding chops, and just a few simple questions - mostly along the lines of " in BTC's core, I would change line XXX to change MAX_MONEY, what is it called or where is it in the PIVX core". It's more typing to say " we don't have the resources" than typing "main.cpp line 455", which leads me to believe that most of the folks staffing coin's discords don't have a clue.
in my case, I can figure 99% of it, but 3-4 questions remain unanswered, and I don't have a problem paying someone to assist, but i want my hands in the game, not just write a check and get a fully functional thing that I know little about... building something is the best way to learn about something.
and they call themselves "communities".
