When I search for mtgox on bitcointalk I am directed to 2011 posts, I usually end up reading them because they are interesting but they are obv very outdated

Bitcointalk needs more money to survive, it would be cool if some donators gave bitcoins to the forum when they were cheaper because Bitcointalk could have a lot of money right now that it would use to donate and create an even greater forum

You must be new here.

If you aren't the sole controller of your private keys, you don't have any bitcoins.

If I could have been involve in the forum when it started it would have been a great experience so I don't want to to be a pity hater, especially since I don't know half the informations I need to judge if the donations are well used or not and if a good job has been made/is made Smiley

Not sure if trolling or not, but they've got plenty of money and are spending plenty of it on a new forum.

True. Now we're waiting for the money to get spent for the right reasons.

56 Activity hmm
you don't seem new Cheesy

well, welcome anyways xD

use google instead of the search button Wink
you'll mostly find everything you would search here just by adding "bitcointalk" on google Wink

yeah totally depends where we spend most of our time in this forum, like myself i used to spend most of time in off topic section which is not going to help me with understanding what i really want to know about, but if i look on right section of the forum i might get more info ..!

I will do that each time I search something because I usually don't find what I am looking for when I search directly on the forum

mtgox : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search2

bitcoin legal https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search2

Google could be used directly on Bitcointalk to search for results

Incorrect.
Posts are just a number. Activity has meaning. One would think that I (after 15 days+ spent on the forum) would have acquired at least some knowledge by now?

Plus just go to the search tab, and use Google; it works much better.
