As far I know blockchain is the most updated technology so, it is obviously possible but pay for using social sites is really seems foolish.

We want faster and more secure. But, you are right to pay no point. But we do not cease to believe in Facebook.

If it gives considerable changes on how one uses the platform then it will be a hit. However knowing the scandals of Facebook regarding data handling, no matter what form or how innovative they can be with the blockchain technology, it still isn't really appealing for those who want more privacy over their personal information. It is possible for them to use or integrate blockchain into whichever application they deem fit because of their great engineers but what bothers me is if there will still be a data security breach from the inside knowing the recent scandals about Facebook and Cambridge Analytica.

What kind of network do you trust? I think there are nuances everywhere Undecided

Yes it is possible but it will become totally a worthless job because when you get something free of cost you don't need to pay for that and if you do you will called fool.

Sometimes there are people who claim that the Facebook social network can be downloaded to the blockchain as a distributed application. They believe that the blockchain-project, which they have in their favorites, can be used to place a social network on it.
The most important thing: the delivery of messages should be instantaneous or with a reasonable delay of not more than a few seconds. What's the point in a retarded application?
At the same time, the price of each transaction (and in the case of messaging one user makes hundreds of such transactions every day) will be prohibitively high. And the whole messaging system will become useless. Recall that now the exchange of messages in Facebook and other social networks is completely free. Users are not ready to pay for messages on the Internet, this is the whole point of the Internet!

How do you like the idea? Is it real? Would you use it?

It is theoretically possible, but it's pointless. What is facebook?Well, behind the good design and various features, facebook is just lots of programming code, uploaded on lots of servers. What is the blockchain?Lots of programming code executing tasks on lots of servers.I wish that facebook would look more like Shapchat and allow messages and status updates that self-destruct after a while. This will save a lot of space. Yet the whole community is waiting for the blockade in everyday life. But how long to wait? We do not know

Well ... in principle, I though not a programmer, but I think that this is quite possible. It seems to me that Zuckerberg will not consciously take this step. After a huge number of cases with the sink of user data, it's probably not even the smartest person who realized that the head of facebook will provide data without any problems if someone tells him to do so

There are actually a few ICOs undergoing right now that are basically social media websites based on blockchain, I think one of them is called Buddy, but there are a few others that are like Facebook, LinkedIn (talent based) etc. However, due to the amount of data being processed, only part of it will be blockchain based at least for now.

Honesty i don't think there would be any need for that. Anyway since Facebook is based on the digital world, surely it can be integrated on to the blockchain tech. Also the bad character of many of us will even prevent such a large firm from tying to integrate decentralization. We need to change for the better to achieve better. Anyways what more, we're humans and we're all different- all of us can't be good.

Hello,

Honestly I don't really see the interest for facebook because they need control. They have rules, they ban or block what they want and this is not the purpose of the blockchain which is free. NEw project are going to be live with social media base on the blockchain and I think in that case they are much more adapt and will succeed in that way.
