Just wondering how you guys stay organized.

How do you keep track of all of them?

Do you write down what you paid for each coin?

Should their be a limit on how many you keep at the exchanges? Should you pull them out immediately and store them in your wallet?

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Personally I always store alts in encrypted wallets backed up to a couple USB sticks and taken off my computer HD.

I just see too many stories about "hacked" exchanges and if I'm not daytrading the coins I have no reason to keep them on an exchange.

As for keeping track, Excel does the job for me...maybe someone here has a more eloquent solution though!
