Hello,

I installed the latest version of Electrum and Electrum-ltc on Macbook Pro running OS 10.9.5

When I click to run the apps the icon flashes in the Doc but the app does not remain open - it does not run properly.

Is it incompatible?

How to fix it?

Thanks

I downloaded the wallet from here: https://electrum.org/#download

Could you try to drag the "Electrum.app icon"  to the "application folder" first and then right click then choose open.

It should work right now if not the possible reason I think it may be conflict because you install them both Electrum and Electrum-ltc on the same machine.

If you have downloaded the MAC-version, it definitely should be compatible.

Did you already try to run it via the terminal ?

Code:
open -a electrum

[...] the possible reason I think it may be conflict because you install them both Electrum and Electrum-ltc on the same machine.

There can be multiple electrum forks installed if you specify different data directories for them (i do believe electrum-ltc does NOT use the same as electrum standardly).
