It is very natural for Go to become language of blockchain afterall it has a great deal of concurrency support. Also, it is very easy to write fast using Go and a lot of efficient apps nowadays are being written using it. There are other languages out there too but Go is easy to work with and provides good support so anyone can focus on core part of their blockchain tech.
