In the PM list, clicking the subject of the PM used to jump you to that PM. It no longer does - I have to scroll all the way to find it.

Checking the source, it would appear that there are no named anchor's on the page? Was this removed deliberately, or was it removed by accident and hasn't been brought back?

Thanks,
Liam

Works for me. It won't jump to the message if there's not enough content on the page though.

Definitely not working for me. The page is quite long... Definitely long enough for anchors to work.

I click the subject, nothing happens except the address bar is updated. I look in the source, there are no named anchors there at all.

So, either the anchors are added via JS and aren't being added, or something is going wrong rendering the page, or something is very wrong with my browser...

I'm using Chrome on Ubuntu...

Last time someone reported a similar issue it was Adblock.

I re-enabled AdBlock for a bit on this domain to check and I can confirm ADB is causing it.

Can confirm it was adblock. I didn't even realise it was running (it wasn't blocking the ads Tongue).

Thanks Smiley

I think that the problem is caused by this filter:
Code:
bitcointalk.org##td[style="padding: 1px 1px 0 1px;"] > a

This filter is completely useless for blocking ads. On topic pages, everything near ads have random CSS classes that change on each pageload.

Is this the same filter as last time? Was it just never removed?

EasyList keeps trying this stuff and breaking pages, but all it does is hurt users. Ads which follow the ABP-bypassing guidelines cannot be blocked without also blocking important content because the language of CSS selectors (which ABP uses) is too limited. This week, none of the ads even follow the guidelines, so they can be easily blocked by selecting their CSS classes and styles.
