Investing in altcoins is an investment for good luck. We do not know whether this project will be successful and in demand among consumers or whether this is a scam and our investments will simply burn, and the project team will buy the island and the Lamborghini for themselves)
Today's market gave me the opportunity to buy coins / tokens of promising projects (according to my analysis) at the price of ICO and lower.

Actually, the face of alternate coins (altcoins) is normal.
The bearish and bull runs are normal
The wasting away of certain projects after dump is normal.
Making profit is normal and also easy.
Losing money is also very easy and normal.

Altcoins possess higher level of risk but then at the same time they can yield higher percentage profits even in these extreme bearish market we have seen some alts making nice progress but the tricky part is that these alts are highly effected by negative news or events, so they can dump hard anytime if project faces some negativity.

I have always approached each coin as a unique investment and the generalization of all alternative currencues is an idea I have never taken up.

Bitcoin set the pace and we have had a.couple of successful fast followers who took up the baton and entered the race.
Some also saw an opportunity to get quick profit and hence we got scam projects.

I am in the cryptocurrency market for last 2 years. It was really a good journey, lol. Anyway, I have seen most of the altcoins get dead after a certain time. Most of those are having a very low daily volume. I think those will not even exist after a couple of months or years. Most of those come up with an idea which doesn't have any utility and later, the dev team doesn't care about any further development.
