Do you think Bitcoin still has the majority votes to stay on top over Dodgecoin, Litecoin, Peercoin, Namecoin and every other coins! The altcoins are looking to have the upper hand in some cases and Bitcoin did suffer some serious hits in the recent days. So if Bitcoin still is the King of cryptcoins as it proclaims, how long do you think it going to hold its throne?

Honestly, personally I don't know anymore. In terms of functionality, there isn't anything that Bitcoin can do that other coins can't. Just because Bitcoin is the biggest cryptocurrency right now doesn't mean it will always be. Xerox, Kodak, AOL among many many other companies were HUGE but now many of them are barely competing. Hell, even Mt.gox went down so in my opinion, anything can happen from this point on.
