I'd prefer a video wherei could see some nxt shareholder balance
oh, i already saw that in fact
Are you referring to my video?
Where can you see NXT balances?
http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=34Top 2 accounts are early stakeholders. #1 is inactive, the #2 is more active and is willing to help fund NXT committee's if things get done, #3 is an exchange, etc. etc..
The rest is spread between exchange accounts (DGEX, BTER, Vircurex, etc.) and regular investors in NXT. If you were in NXT early on, you would see the distribution has been great.
Yes, interesting page!
Reminds me to make a video 'why just holding onto your coins is very useful'
I find the negative talk about 'inactive' coin owners I have seen in the NXT community quite problematic. (not saying you do this here ofcourse)
In my opinion nobody that owns NXT can be defined as 'inactive'.
The risk one takes by owning NXT coins is very high.
The act of just holding onto your coins means that you are actively investing in NXT by risking capital in it.
Some put a lot of time in NXT, others put a lot of energy in NXT, others put a lot of capital in NXT.
It all adds to the value of NXT. And in fact the 'inactive' top account holder is adding a lot of value to NXT simply by remaining invested for such a large amount. I'm sure this already consumes a lot of energy for this person.
