I think there is no any bet to buy altcoins its is called buy wall and sell wall from where you can buy altcoin and sell altcoins that is the best and good thing to buy with these walls from any exchanges of trading.

to my mind  there  are a lot of good altcoins  to buy now. I  chose  coins from new projects out of top 100 coins  with capitalization  1 -4 mln, such as OPT, XYO, HBZ, ABYSS. These coins have more chances to make several  X"s

if i have to invesgt right now it would be with EOS as it had already tested its stronv resistance and had gain from 4$ . although there is a chance to dip but i don't think it will dip below $4. thiz is a good chance to ride its rise. if you have bought at the price of $8 its not so much of a loss i don't think i w9uld have sold in panic even if it drop to $3. you'd have believe this is a strong token that is stayed at top ten with all these depressed market.

Just keeping your money in btc is probably not such a bad option itself, but if you're willing to switch to altcoins, take a look at the toppest ones (already named by others). If you want something less popular, you should explore OmiseGo. It has like the strongest team, a huge real corporation behind it and a bunch of partners. It's ath is 5 times the current price, and this coin is really big, so I am sure it will make it to its previous record and probably even more. It's a very solid banking project and it is not as hyped as most of coins out there. I'd still recommend to stay with btc for the time being, though, because the price is obviously really low and you'll have to count out from the potential profit with alts what you lost with selling too much btc.

a great many types of altcoin are there in the market today. Especially for the kind of new coins. And this makes us have to be clever in selecting coins. I think the right coins to be our choice is EOS.

Though everyone will have their choice of coins based on their research or speculations, for me I will go for smart contracts coins, like eth, Neo, icon, eos etc, these coins, a lot of people will still use them to deploy their apps in the future.

Noone can tell you where to invest, you need to study the market and the coins, and what they can will be in few years.
It's you call if you want invest is a big "strong" coin like ethereum, or you want to "gamble" with a potential good coin like EOS, remember to invest only how much you can loose.
