Help please - Litecoin-QT v0.8.6.1-beta - No block source available...

Tried searching for this but kept getting a million irrelevant results:

My Litecoin-QT v0.8.6.1-beta (Windows 7) says "No block source available..." for over an hour. I tried restarting it, but I'm not sure how to resolve this. It's never done this before for me. I haven't updated any settings on my firewall or PC that I know of that would cause this.

So I thought I'd check here before re-installing, or deleting the blockchain.

What's the best way forward?

Still can't get any block source, despite trying all sorts of 'addnode' and 'connect' params.

having the same problem with my litecoin wallet as well. i have done almost every thing i can to the best of my knowledge and tried googling it  as well  but nowhere i can solve this shit
