So I've been wondering about something and hoping you guys could help out.

I'm looking at multi-coin mining but wondering if its better to mine with a pool that has a high hash rate, or is it better to mine with one of the little guys?

I only have 6MH/s so I'm wondering where would be best to put my little bit of power for the best returns?

A pool with a bigger hash gets more coins, but my reward is less.
A smaller pool gets less coins but my reward would be greater, is that correct?

And any advice?

Or would it be better to just stick to mining LTC?

Also I forgot to add...

The bigger pool wants 2% fee.

The smaller pool is 0%.

Bigger pool's total hash: 17000MH/s.
And the smaller pool's hash: 1080MH/s.

As I am a operator of pool, let me tell you the truth.

Bigger pool may get more blocks since they spread the works to every miners.
Each miner don't overlap their works, so they may get more blocks.
Do you know what it mean? Little pool miners may get same works that already bigger pool had calculated.

And if they find a block, they start the next block hashing immediately.
Other pools need to wait for the next block info to come by p2p network.

But, this possibility is really ignorable in reality.

Let me say my pool.

My darkcoin pool's hashing power is about 9% of net hash but it's all time block finding stat is 85.71%.
100% is ideal, lower than 100% means you get block with less hashes. yeah, low value is better.
So 85.71% is really lucky for All Time pool stats.

Other big pool that covers about 50% share is getting 102.22% for All Time stat.

So, in reality big pool and small pool's efficiency difference is very little and it depends just by luck.
My lucky pool may get worse result some time, and other pool may get better result time to time.

This is real truth about pool size.
Pool size is really ignorable.

What you need to care is the pool stat (lucky?), pool fee, server location from your miner rigs to get lower network latency.

Conclusion : come to our pool. it's 0% Fee!!!!
