Ethereum Price Increases by 12% After Losing 1/3 of its Value

A 12% increase isn't that big, but I guess it looks like a significant gain to those who bought/invested recently.

But it look like it's going down again, it stands at -10% in the 1 week charts. People need to get used to these massive price swings, we're currently in a bear market, no matter how much a cryptocurrency goes up, sooner or later it'll go back down again, that's how things work when the market is surrounded by a bearish sentiment.

This behaviour is only temporary, though, so expect the ETH price to go back to normal levels once there's a shift in market sentiment.

Yes, ETH had dropped drastically below the $200 level in the past days wherein I believe that ETH had undergone a major correction in the crypto market. For ETH investors and supporter's, you don't need to panic on your ETH investment as this will somehow regain and recover from it's dip. Most likely, this adjustment may take a bit longer before it could rally however, I think this may go bullish in the coming Q4 of this year. I believe now is the right time to buy more ETH in the market to be able to gain more profit soon since ETH price is just very low for now.

Down again today, I still don't understand why Ethereum is so much under attack compared to all others crypto. Does someone has figured  a reliable explanation for that dip movement?

Maybe the market as a whole has problems right now, we should not look at every altcoin, eth or bitcoin's state on why their price is declining. Because in our country, also the Stock markets have gone bearish in these past few months so I think the world is having financial or economic problems that's so minor to be noticed, but nothing escapes the graphs no matter how minor it is.

The market as a whole is definitely in a downtrend with no exception and we all know very well that bitcoin is the main driving factor in this whole equation. The instability of bitcoin and in the verge of trying to find a direction, this keeps suppressing the value of the altcoins from rising.

I think it is obvious that the altcoins have been trying to gain some momentum with the hope of a favorable condition to rise, but certainly it is not happening because it is not palatable enough for the market to move without traders quickly selling off once the market starts taking a different shape.

Ethereum, as we know, have dropped mostly as a reaction of fake news. After Buterin has explained to the community what he has said in reality, ETH is starting to slowly recover. I think the recovery goes so slow because of pessimistic attitude about the whole market, not because investors don't trust ETH anymore.

There will always still be that pessimism in the market after a huge drop considering the fact that the market is yet to find a good bearing. So far, I would say for what it is worth, Ethereum is trading at a very good price range for long positions.

If people do not trust ETH anymore because of the price, then wait to see how they will jump at FOMOing once the price starts showing some element of recovery. It is just the way it is.

ETH got pumped yesterday right after the XRP chasing ETH. It seems the pump was objectively, I mean ETH price was manipulated by a group of people. If not, ETH would really get a huge pump till now which may push the price to $300+.

I think you just analysis ethereum market price and you got a result that is increased around 12% all the market was going down. At the moment area price is going so you can say it will be more valuable in future or in a couple of days later. Still now ethereum price is growing so everybody hopefully about ethereum price will be more valuable in this end of 2018.

Well, i think this is a normal thing in crypto. Unless it is a trash coin, it will goes back to normal price later.
ETH has falling to the bottom, and it will be normal for it to be corrected back at some point, not going to 0 price.
