I have 10 L3+. Yield is very small now. WHAT will advise you to do? Sell cheap or wait when the market comes to life?

Perhaps someone doing greenhouse farming would like to use the heat and wind + paying for electricity.

you could share profit or get free farming products Smiley

have u tried this ?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3835841.0

might get you some extra greens from the farmer Wink

I was kind of serious with my advice.

About the future of cryptocoins and blockchainS:
You should really check out channel "Bitcoin Ben" and perhaps also "Gold 2020 forcast" on Youtube.
Especially yesterday sept 17 2018.

Why doesn't this forum have some kind of tips and ways for members to find each other and geographically come together and perhaps run joint mining operation with better deals on electricity and internet with low latency.

Some kind of crowdsourcing which could grow into small(and big) businesses and perhaps making use of the heat at the same time and perhaps making money of it by getting paid for it in some form and/or not having to pay for electricity in part or full.

I beleive that one key to future wealth's should be to Hoodl.
Don't exchange everything to Fiat-money.
Save at least some cryptos.
And exchange into other cryptos that you believe in.
Don't just bet on one hourse Wink

Agree that you could sell them and by cryptos to put in cold storage.

If you think there will be a revivial for cryptos like Litecoin (scrypt) then perhaps you should calculate how many litecoin you can by if you sell vs mining at loss today and at what pricepoint would it be better to keep on mining vs selling?

What will the price of cryptos be when you have the money to buy?
(How fast can you sell Wink  )

Going price i've seen is something like $150-$250 .

$150 x 10 = $1500
$250 x 10 = $2500

You could buy about 29-49 Litecoin for $1500-$2500
And how long time will it take to mine thoose 29-49 Litecoin ?

You could according to chup's suggestion buy something like (if $1500):
Three biggest (most expensive):
.08 Bitcoin
1.2 Bitcoin Cash
1.5 Maker

my suggestion would be that at least spread little bit more.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash I believe are both same 256-hash.
Maker is not even mineable.

Longterm i would go for only Minable ("decentralized") and spread over coins and blockchains.
At least:
40-50% BTC
10-20% LTC
5-15% Etherum Classic
5-15% Monero
5-15% Zcash
5% Digibyte
and whatever

I myself belive Bitcoin (BTC) = Gold has been for thousends of years (longterm)
I use Bitfi as wallet for longterm storage since everything is stored encrypted in the blockchain itself (as I have understood it) and not in the hardware or on their site.

Best of luck whatever you choose !

Misunderstanding. Three biggest, not three most expensive cryptocurrencies . So list is BTC, ETH and XRP.

A day can come and take advantage of them .. You have lost a great loss to them
If you sell them now they will not give me a quarter of their price

I doubt it. We were talking about ASICs which has a short lifetime. Sell it now or never! To be honest, I'm doing the second one. I've never sold my old ASIC. I'm using its fans for replacing my GPU fans that broken.

Ahaa!

Got it !

Sorry I didn't get that, but someone else might also have missunderstood so perhaphs good that was clarified!

I still think that if going longterm perhaps not only three biggest and don't know if not minable cryptos are good as longterm investment ? ? ?

According to youtube-channel: "Bitcoin Ben" it will be these to have in the future:
Bitcoin
Litcoin
XRP
Ethereum
Ethereum Classic

In the end it will be those in power who will decide.

If the good guys win it won't be XRP Smiley

So I hope the rigging of the markets goes away someday. Would be nice with free markets where each and every crypto, stock, metall, ...  finds it's true value.

If your electricity is not very expensive, you can try to mine new altcoins with low difficulty...
It will be some kind of gambling...

He will not have trouble selling them on Craigslist, even if the crypto market never recovers and remains bearish however he needs to be reasonable with his prices.

If the miners become very unprofitable, don't list it for like $500 when the most you will get is maybe $50.

Back in 2015, I've sold many old miners like the KnCMiner Jupiter or the Antminer S1 for like $50. People bought them for fun and to learn about cryptos. I've told them, "you won't ever make a profit" and they understood and bought it anyways. Basically just like buying a stick miner.

Use them as winter heating devices....

A pretty good option if you were living in the places with four seasons. I'm not doing that because I live in the tropical area.

take a shit and wipe your ass with the ASICs

Watch out, it will burn your ass!  Cheesy

I have two dozen of L3+ and I'm thinking about giving it to my 3yo son as he likes to play with fans and screws. That's the only use I can think of for old ASICs at the moment.
