With the incredible growth of the IoT, and the availability and ubiquity of low budget smartphones these have helped to create a world more connected than ever before. This interconnectedness while advantageous can pose a detriment to personal security. As such, it is necessary that the IoT devices can defend themselves against malicious actors. This is where Blockchain tech could help us gain an edge over the attackers as Blockchains help us to create applications which provide data immutability, integrity, and confidentiality.
Can anyone provide present day realworld cases of blockchain being used in their smart city? Would like to put a practical example to theory.
