Ripple is also a cryptocurrency but centralized. What happens to top cryptocurrency ultimately happen to every coin be ut decentralized or centralized! I will suggest you spend your funds and energy buying bitcoin!

buy a ripple now, it would be a very smart decision, I think it’s because it would make good money in the future because the price of the ripple is clearly undervalued now
