I would advise you to keep bitcoin on the official website. on the official wallet. at the moment it is the safest.

I think that coinbase is a good one already, but if you are not exactly comfortable or okay with using that, then you might want to consider using blockchain.info. It is one of the best and safest wallets that you can use to store up your coins. You can also make use of any of the hardware wallets like ledger.

Coinbase is a coin exchange. And I wouldn't advise you to keep your tokens there, because they could be stolen. Use wallets where there is a private key.

Coinbase is not a wallet. But it can provide a storage for keeping funds. And guys are right, it's not advisable to store coins on the exchange. There are crypto wallets for such purposes which are more secure. You can keep just a little portion on the exchange which has a cold storage like CEX (https://cex.io/).

I think there are several bitcoin wallets to handle
I prefer the Blockchain of bitcoin wallet

Simple use the bitcoin Blockchain wallet
It’s the best available to us all on the space

As long as you do not compromise yourself

The best advice for newbies is, first of all, to read this forum a lot and get as much knowledge about cryptocurrency as possible. The more you know the better.
