It is really unfortunate that you lost all those bitcoins. But then again trial and error is the best way to learn and now you know.

Anyways since you are interested in altcoins, there are some amazing projects out there, some which have already boomed and some which hold the potential to explode in the future.

One such project is FansTime. If interested, do watch this easy to understand video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtSbKFmRVtk&t=11s

The best advice I can give is the market is really low right now so you want to get in quickly.  BUT not too quickly.  I would get 10-20% in right now.  then space out my future purchases.  It's tempting to go all in right now at these crazy prices but I would split my purchases up.  This market is out of control.

You already know what is needed to be done before investing so now be cautious before putting your money in any investment that you think is worth investing.

About airdrop there's nothing if you'll try to join since its free but be careful when giving out your infos especially if they require kyc, dont trust easily for a mere tokens that we dont know if it can get any value in the future.

Sorry for the loss. 90% is.. A LOT, to be honest  Undecided
For the airdrop, I dont have much experience.
If you still want to invest, please knowledge yourself. That is the right way to achieve what you want. Dont try to make quick money in this market.

Hi, guys and gurus! Nice to meet you all.  Cheesy
I've been coming to the forum time to time, but it's my first time posting.
I need some advice...

I bought BTC and lost 90% of my money a while back. It wasn't all my savings or anything, but it was quite a loss. A friend of mine told me about the bitcoin - but I didn't know anything about this crypto world so I still kick myself for being so dumb - and I got in without research. Snap, and it was gone.  Sad
I guess I should have been smarter, should have done my research, should have come here before and so forth... but what's done is done.

But now that I do more reading and follow this crypto market, I am more and more convinced that cryptocurrency is going to boom soon and I don't want to miss out!

I've been looking around recently and found out this thing called 'airdrops' and from what I understand they basically give you some coins for free!  Shocked
I think it's a good thing cuz I don't feel comfortable about the risk of putting money in but at the same time can get a bit of coin for free.
But it also means that I can't really spend it or exchange it for cash for a long time, right?

The airdrop event my friend and I found is this thing called Coindrop, and apparently I can make up to like 60,000 SEEDs. (Here is the link: coindrop.link)
I'm a bit cautious but it sounds like really good opportunity, so I figured I'd ask you experts.

So what do you guys think?  Huh
Yes try to join airdrops anyway its free and you can earn by this but be sure to join airdrops with potential coins in order no earn surely because there are some airdrops that are not reliable. Also here in this forum you can learned everything you want to know about cryptocurrency and on how to earn crypto coins with or without investments.

You should always be well informed before making a decision. Read, talk to people, and then decide where to go. I would do so.

I don't understand how you could lose 90% of your investment by buying Bitcoin ?.. Even if you bought it at maximum price of $20,000 in December 2017, you lost 68% of investment. As for airdrop, among them very many scam-projects. If you want to earn a few coins it's better to participate in Bounty companies. In their percentage of fraud is much lower and you can always find information on this forum about such projects.

maybe he buys bitcoin at the highest price and he uses his bitcoin to buy altcoin which already falling from January. and he calculates from losing his bitcoin and his altcoin, the total of his loss is more than 90% from his investment. this could happen if someone buys bitcoin and altcoin at the highest price without trying to sell when the price is at the top price. but sometimes the percentage is not valid because there are many other indicators that he might use to calculate his losses.

It's a good thing you have learnt from your own mistakes, and not only that, you have put in measures to ensure they do not repeat and come to come your way again. That was a nice move from you. Now that you have decided to join Bounty work as against investing with your own m9ney in buying coins, welcome to the world of bounty hunters. Well, you were lucky you had a good coin paying you in your 1st bounty, you may not be lucky next time, so brave yourself with coins that would just decorate your wallets as they have no real market value. And this is so since you are joining the airdrops group. If you want to invest, I think you have enough info on which coin and how to go about it by now.

The one who can wait will be able to earn on cryptocurrency. Don't panic and be patient. Leave your coins for 1-2 years and see how they grow, unless of course you bought BCH:))) while starting to learn how to earn free coins...this is a difficult but real task. Especially not requiring investments, for you just in this case will be relevant.

Hi everyone! It's been a long time. I have been going around on facebook and so forth learning more about crypto!
Thank you for your heartfelt msgs. Cheesy

I did participate in the Coindrop event and various other airdrops. I am actually here to advertise my referral today hehe.
If you'd like to participate in the ZERA Drop this time (It's up to 1500USD, but I probably couldn't get that much haha),
check out my post on the airdrop forum. Cheesy

Be careful with the coins that you are investing in, always make sure that when you are investing in coins you are doing so because you have done good research into them and you are convinced that the coins are going to do well. Another thing is that you should make sure that when you are investing that you are not putting in more money than you can afford to lose, it is very important.

I forgot to put the link to the Coindrop thing. Sorry. I guess you guys need this to check it out for me, right?
coindrop.link
I wanted to point out that you did not include the link in your post, but let me say that airdrop are good ways for new projects to invite investor's into their project and again they offer free coins to participants of the program but again airdrop alone can not give you the profits you desire so at that you need to make more research into projects that have great potential and invest any amount you can afford to let go unto it and wait for the right time before selling.

If you are truly New to this world ,then i will suggest that you your research and then when you think that you have red it all, do it again, only this time with other sources.
there are a lot of underwater rocks which will get you hard, you will lose money.

Also look for new projects which small market-caps , they have the biggest potential.
Yes. This is a good advice. There's no reason for the op to rush in investing. All he have to do for now if he's really a newbie is to study how things work in investing crypto otherwise he will just lose his money he used in investing.

From what you said, you already bought Bitcoin and lost almost 90% of your investment so I think you should carry out more research before considering investing or trading. I will also advice you participate in Airdrops and Bounties only if you have time to carry out the necessary task require.
