I know there is a simple way how to test TREZOR recovery seed: https://blog.trezor.io/test-your-seed-backup-dry-run-recovery-df9f2e9889

Does something similar exist for LEDGER wallet? Thanks

If you don't want to expose your seed to a computer (e.g. Electrum wallet) then the easiest way would be to wipe the device and recover your wallet using the seed. Don't forget to save the public key or the last receiving address so that you can easily determine if it is the same wallet. Extra effort is worth it since you might have miswritten your recovery phrase.

#Edit: I didn't know that they have released Recovery Check. Follow the guide with the person below linked.

Assuming you've got "Ledger Nano S", I was able to find an app called "Recovery Check" (specifically built for this purpose):

Use the Recovery Check app on your Ledger Nano S device to verify that you've correctly saved your recovery phrase. Before you continue, you need to have initialized your Ledger Nano S and saved its recovery phrase.

Ledger Nano S came out with this new feature (Recovery Check) to test your 24 word password at the end of July 2018, and implemented as an app that can be installed using Ledger Live (see https://www.ledger.com/pages/ledger-live). I tried it back then and it worked fine. You take a little while to enter the 24 words, but are fortunately spared the burden of fully typing every character of every word on Ledger Nano S (after you “type” a few character for a given word, you can use the device’s up and down buttons to select from a bunch of suggested words that match the prefix you entered, thus saving you the extra character input).

Before the release of the app, you would have needed to reset the device and use the real restore process, so effectively, you could only test the 24 word seed by performing a complete recovery, with all that the process entails…
