I read the article and it's essentially a clickbait-y headline for what I believe is a very understandable and unsurprising approach to cryptocurrencies and their regulation. Most of the negativity seems saved for ICOs, and given how many scams emerged over the past few months, I'm not shocked that lawmakers would take a cautious view towards them.

At least there are hearings and not an outright ban. In addition, Ms Warren is quoted as saying "the challenge is how to nurture productive aspects of crypto with protecting consumers". I would take that as a positive, as this shows that she is not dismissing cryptocurrency outright. Just looking for ways to protect the average consumer who doesn't understand any of this.

Does Elizabeth Warren give support to cryptocurrency, I don't think it has a big effect on cryptocurrency, especially if your question is a bit political, this is really unethical

it is a very big thing, after reading the article, I think crypto is not a scary thing for them, by ignoring it, it only protects users, of course from some errors and misuse of crypto, if democrats look for candidates like Mrs. Warren, that is one good step to defeat people like Trump
