Metamask keeps on loading problem

Hi guys. Some of us here uses metamask plugin as a wallet for our eth or tokens (ERC20) on Chrome browser. Sometimes when you start your computer or laptop then you open your metamask wallet, it takes time to open and keeps on loading. This problem doesn't occur very often but there are times that it is happening. So, here is a solution I will suggest to you when it happens.

PROBLEM
Note: The screenshot was taken during transition between MainNet and Ropsten Test Net.)



So first you need to change from MainNet to any network on your metamask plugin. Here I choose
ROPSTEN TEST NETWORK



You will notice after choosing any network besides the MainNet, the loading will stop.
Then you will have to return to the MainNet and do your login.



  JUST SIMPLE AS THAT.  

Hopefully, I provided some good solution for some newbies problem out there.

I have been using metamask and sometimes it doesnt load correctly,so this is the easiest way to fix it? i like what metamask is giving us,protection from the phishing sites and it is indeed protecting the private keys of our wallets whener we are using DEX or decentralized exchanges like etherdelta and forkdelta with this powerful extension you wont need to worry about your browser's security,install some malwarebytes in your computer and you are good to go!

Yes, I also bump on this problem more often and this is the only way I can fastly resove the issue. Same as you I really like metamask plugin and how secure I felt when I'm using it. I hope it did solve your issue about the loading thing. Cheers!

Ah never test that, i just uninstal metamask when that happend since i have the private key and json file. After uninstal i install it again. When the trouble happend again ill try that way before uninstal the metamask.thanks sir for your info

Thanks mate, I stumble on this issue as well a while ago and it is really annoying to wait much time to finish the loading thing. I will try this and hopefully, it will work on my end. Thanks for sharing your idea.

You're welcome I did uninstall the metamask once when they upgraded it recently. It is very important to save the seed words when things like that happen.

Yes, it does happen sometimes and it is really inconvenient. I might try this as well when I encounter the long loading issue with metamask. Thank you.

If the problem is the same as I stated on this thread guys, for sure this is one the quick solution for it. If it's a problem that need more technical solution then maybe just do the uninstall/install procedure. I once did that too.

It is really hard to give all of your trust into an application that says it can make you secure your funds, nowadays. It is still best to secure them all by your self.

Yes, actually I use metamask wallet but the real thing is it is my MEW wallet imported on the metamask plugin. I use metamask for trading on forkdelta most of the time. I found it very usr friendly.
