How did they get 1000 merits?

Jet Cash has reached the 1000 merits on his own, the original merit count was 500 for him. He has collected the merits fairly quickly to become a Legendary as far as I remember

I know but I thought he was at the requirement to get the extra 500 merit was the thing I was questioning?

If I understood it right, 500 extra merit was given to some hero members to get them up to legendary if they had a certain activity high enough for it.

His activity now is 1036, the merit system cane out about 9 months ago? So that means 1036-9*30=776 so that means he was just slightly below the 775 needed (ahhhhhh).
