Hello, let me start out by saying I’m going to reddit this so I expect a response.
How do you guys consider yourself leveraged when your really not? Why are your orders the same on 2.5:1 as they are on exchange or 1:1? As far as profit goes? Something seems fishy… Especially with your calculations in variance of price….
Also, what is the excuse behind not having your whole order shown in your history apart from the various trades the engine makes to “match the price”?
Wait another thing… How is that when you place a market order you usually execute it extremely far away from the market price? I understand the spread but really??? Your orders are placed so far off from the spread it makes it very questionable...That also seems extremely fishy…
Looking forward to your response and please take your time in your answers. If you would prefer to act like you don’t know what I am talking about then please elaborate your misunderstanding (in detail) in your response. I understand there are fluent english speakers @ bitfinex so this shouldn’t be a problem.
Thanks

I emailed that to bitfinex last night. I will keep you guys updated. It appears there are quite a few other people experiencing the same "problems". I would just prefer to make them a bit more transparent for the bitcoin community.

Okay here's an update for ya'll and you won't like it.  About half a bitcoin just disappeared from one of my wallets on BFX. I emailed them and hopefully they will have a response (I doubt it as they've ignored every other inquiry so far) There are not transactions since the below listed one so Im at a loss of words as to where a half a bitcoin went without any transaction ID....

Keep your BTC out of BFX and if you got balls and still trading with them, keep your BTC in ONE wallet. Don't USE ANY OF THE OTHER MAGICAL 3 THEY OFFER. Maybe the expect you to not keep track of technically 9 wallets so they can get away with shit like this? USD, BTC, LTC x 3 Huh

Either way, no transaction ID and missing BTC is not transparent. Its downright theft. No response to prior requests before I started this BFX transparency thread is also very very fishy...

Just keeping an eye out guys. This is just as fishy as Gox approving accounts to people who have applied for over 6 months just one week before their insolvency.

Where the fuck is my remaining bitcoin balance after this transaction?
BTC -0.1896 BITCOIN 20 Mar 18:23 Completed 18PU88T1N7aG4NpLbxeLnHSYbMSRdqQ78x, txid: cf18a8d2774fb1d1b9ca95495e6d2add85cef3bfce32b528098fa751d002d441
You guys are a fucking scam with your leverage. With your calculated profits and losses.
Expecting an immediate response. Im going to make this shit public as fuck so you don’t Gox everyone else!
-Jason

Basically there are 3 types of wallets on Bitfinex. .5BTC just magically went missing from my deposit account after that last transaction and there is no TXID after that .1896 one. SO WHERE THE FUCK IS MY MONEY BITFINEX?
Real quick to leverage losses. Not so quick to leverage gains.
NO TRANSPARENCY.

Currency can be leveraged because the fluctuations are so minuscule the calculations can be correct. AKA PIPS. PERCENTAGE IN POINT! NOT MOVING OUTSIDE OF A 1/10 in a fuckin day! BITCOIN IS NOT THE SAME WAY. ITS EXTREMELY VOLATILE I wish I knew your formula because its clear the fluctuations in the market do not reflect in your P/L balance.
You guys are a clear fucking chink ass boiler room located in Hong Kong.
It won't be long until more people start trading with you and realize what a bucket shop your running.
You and Mark Karpeles would get along GREAT!

Could you please explain your issue more clearly and please try to use calmer language. It is very unlikely bitfinex would be scamming you, and they will get back to you on your support tickets.

Help us understand your issue better.

EDIT: The 3 wallets each have a definitive function, there is nothing scammy about this. Some things could be more flexible though.

It's very unlikely? What makes you say that? You do realize that a ridiculous number of Bitcoin "exchanges" have ended with the majority of the users losing money, don't you?

Has there been third party audits of BitFinex's operations?

No, but I and others obv use them continuously. Why would they suddenly scam this unstable guy off some half a bitcoin? Seems unlikely, he should calm down and explain his issue better.

You guys troll for a living or what? I and others use them continuously, no missing coins. It's not like there are many other reports of missing coins from BFX. This guy has not made a convincing impression that he has been scammed. I am asking him to explain his issue further.

Incompetence at its best... and I'm not talking about Bitfinex. Roll Eyes

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

Yeah, it's "unlikely" maybe if you define unlikely as below 50%. Most exchanges disappeared, most likely "hacked" by insiders.
