Htc my touch can generate true random and encryption?

I am thinking about using a htc mytouch phone as a bitcoin wallet. i heard that some older phones are not capable of generating true randomness and encryption as processors on old phones are not capable of that. can the htc mytouch be used as a bitcoin wallet? thanks.

p.s. please dont say stuff like, "just buy a new phone." i am Poor. besides, i have a new rooted android phone, but i read on here not to use a rooted phone as a bitcoin wallet.

if you transfer regulary the sum to a local bitcoin-QT ... it's not a problem.

use a new adress every time you want receive a sum (and wait that the bitcoin app retrieve the merkle tree summary BEFORE create the new adress)
