Apart from the obvious indicators of making sure the project is not a scam, prioritizing the analysis of the working product should come first.

These days I am looking for a project that makes buying and using crypto easy and allows you to safely buy things you want with it once you have it.
This is why I think decentralized exchange projects hold the most potential!

What are you looking for in an ICO?

Besides the project itself, I'd say that the people behind the ICO matter even more. If you take a closer look, you will see that most of the projects never really take off, or if they do, they do that rather slowly. The nature of the crypto space seems to be that way. Progress is slow and difficult. So, if the people behind the project are capable of attracting media attention, if they are well connected, and if they have good social skills and employ good marketing strategies, the ICO will be successful. At least, it will be successful in the initial stages of the project. That's all you need to cash out in time. Because, let's face it, most of the current ICOs won't make it long term.

I think you have already exclude the main aspects we usually look for in ICO, but in general we always get enthusiastic about the concept of project whether it's promising or not.

we can find out ico project plans from the white paper, no product has been running, because ico is collecting funds to run the planned project. in my opinion we have look  team that works in the project, if the team is good, chances are  project will go according to plan roadmap and get success.

The main point of investing in ICO is of course getting a profit, today it’s probably already very distorted, because many developers behave very strangely and think that fundraising is easy. This is someone else's money and they will not come just like that.

Exchange is not profitable anymore but ICO with technology concept will survive and successful. For this one we can check again the finish ICO and see the progress until now. Most people like me only see from the profit and hard cap to decides follow an ICO project. Believe in you and good luck to you.

On coinmarketcap there are more than 200 exchanges listed on it. the projects that can have concept on making exchange platforms can be give out put soon. But as increasing number of exchanges this would be changed. We have to select projects for ico investing according the hype of that time. future there may be another category.

You should first of their team if they had a previous project and how the success was that ICO . If it was a fail you should be careful where you put your money if not you should invest

For me the future practicality and use cases of the ico project are the most important things to look into and then some other impactful things include quality of website, whitepaper, team experience and genuinity. Finally also consider your overall feeling, if you get any sort of negative thoughts about the project after your research then drop the project.

The usual checklist you should include is checking the whitepaper first if the idea is fundable, scalable, and is really needed to be made in a decentralized way. Next thing you must check is the team behind the project. Determine if they have already a good experience in the industry because they will play a great role in the project's success.

One good criteria I can recommend is checking if an ICO has already an alpha product they can show you. It's a very good indication that they're not making promises with just raw ideas.

When choosing ICO, I also look at this important criterion as a released product. If it is, then the project may indeed be promising. After the product, I begin to study the project team and so on.

What are you looking for in an ICO?

I've just come from 2 exchanged based ICO and they are both successful and I'm currently promoting a new one now, I think this is the trend now if you want success in ICO an exchanged based ICO holds a good potential in the market, this is because of Binance success in their ICO.

I absolutely find Gigzi is the best fit for this matter!!

It is built to back the price os digital Gigzi assets with precious metals price to ensure stability and avoid volatility. Plus it is possible to use these assets for buying and selling plus exchanging them into fiat, thanks for the Gigzi partnership with local banks worldwide. https://gigzi.com
