Hello all I ask anyone on here who owns a Apple Computers. I have an IMac, i am wanting to clean up space on my Desktop.

I have a heavy program that i use alot FINAL CUT Pro
I use it to edit my videos for my video series about Crypto.

I was wondering if i can transfer whole FINAL CUT pro program to my External drive? and run entire application from there?

would it and most other programs work still fine - running from External? vs my Desktops Drive?

thanks I really need help on this so feedback very helpful

Buddy, I'd sell poppy in your place and collect a good pc on a windows platform. Apple has only good phones, the rest is bad.

Completely disagree.  Just because it's not your cup of tea, that does not make it a bad choice for everyone.  I don't care for Ford vehicles, but that does not mean they are crap and no one else should like them.  This is such a petulant comment.
