Hello all, I made a stupid mistake and flashed my S9J with the incorrect firmware from bitmain and messed up my control board. I can turn it on and the lan and green lights are operating normally like the unit is mining however its not...
I've tried pushing in the ipreport button before the unit is turned on and releasing and no go luck there in restoring firmware.

The only luck I've had is I went to bitmain site downloaded their recover the control board with image. https://service.bitmain.com/support/download?product=Flashing%20SD%20card%20with%20image

I've selected the T9+ one because I don't see a s9 version on there and from what i've gathered online t9 and s9j and so on are the same control boards (correct me if I'm wrong)

So after I've moved the jumper over and put the microsd card in I finally go the green and red lights flashing (confirming that something has completed)

So I take everything and put it all back together (move the jumper back over), I boot up the miner and I get this weird page with Japanese writting on it
https://forums.grandstream.com/uploads/default/original/2X/d/dbad33fd1985b51b8667146c03018f15c72b9d71.png (sorry the image hyper link isn't work for me)

The unit still looks like its operating normally the only difference is that I now get this weird page...

and now I'm pretty much stuck at this point, can anyone give me a hand on what to do at this step? I don't really want to purchase another control board at this point. also I can see the ipadddress on my router as well.

Thank you in advance.

The only way that I know to fix brick s9 is to flash the control board through "USB to serial converter".
There is a guide here on the forum how to fix this bricked control board.
