India to legalize gambling and sports betting

we see the progress of how the government is regulating gambling in india. if it is felt that it can generate profits for both parties, the regulation of crypto will also be realized.

Govt has made no progress in term so gambling. As the law states on land people cannot gamble so only certain part of the country their is gambling which happens on ships. In future might be if some government looks interesting might make gamble legal or will remain constant as what current law states.

I think it's useless if they legalize gambling but not crypto.

But if both of them has been legalize, it will bring massive impact especially on crypto because India has huge amount of population so if there is uptrend because of India, I won't be surprise at all !

As far as I know if the RBI has banned cryptocurrency because it does not have an existing legal framework and the RBI states that cryptocurrency cannot be recognized as a legal currency and a legitimate payment system. So with such an issue I'm sure India will not legalize cryptocurrency. If they only legalize all types of gambling, I am sure it also seems that there will be crypto transactions in it whether online gambling or offline. So the legal or illegal crypto I'm sure will still be usable in many sectors.

I don't think that this will ever happen. India is a country with archaic rules and regulations. They are trying to ban all sorts of crypto-currencies and the users are under constant harassment. And you expect them to legalize gambling?

I also agree.Even before legalizing it,negative news are already coming out against gambling.But still the last decision would be from their own government.Gambling is already legalized from other countries so if India wants to join them,then gambling will already exist in India legally.Gambling is not really bad as long as there are regulations that should be followed in gambling.

Everything can be possible to happen in the future as we don't know what will the India governments want to do with the cryptocurrency. Maybe they will ban the crypto, but they will allow their people to use the crypto for useful purposes as they know that crypto can give new hope to their people. But still, the India governments need to think about the risk of legalizing gambling in their country because this will makes many of their people will playing gambling.

They removed types of bank note from the economy even and with no notice to holders, so a pretty strict regime to live under.    The RBIseeks to include more of the cash economy in government revenues and unite a divided country of epic size.    Some of that will be productive but also they are in danger of generating too much paperwork to conduct business instead of reducing barriers between different parts of the country.
The reason we can expect quite harsh treatment of any alternatives to Indias rupee is that the country is running a deficit in its budgeting and needs to raise amount of tax taken.
