Yeah, I got to say, this won't serve me now, since I don't do ICOs but then again not every WP was backing an ICO and posterity is something incredibly useful... much later on when people need to reference things.

Simply having a repository with WPs and dated makes that search a bit easier. Just wondering how you would verify veracity of those WPs though. Projects can always claim "hey that wasn't the WP we put up, he changed the contents".

P.S. Check your PM.

I must clarify that for now I do not download every Whitepaper,I grab the abstract and right URL's and link to the websites of projects. There are so many unverified links and WP's out there, that I wanted to build a 'first stop' for all crypto whitepapers. They can always change url's or upload a different WP on that url, so for now my site isn't an 'historical collection' of all the versions of crypto whitepapers. However I'm considering downloading & displaying all the PDF's themselves, but for that to happen there must be some more demand for my site. It's quite easy to set-up and I already have the right wp-links, so that won't take too long.

Thanks for that (and for replying to my PM, trust you're taken care of now), yeah I realised that later too. Can imagine that there will be plenty of dead links though as you acknowledge, and that might kill any initial interest after a few failed attempts (I know it'd kill mine). Of course, if there's no demand then you're wasting effort so okay, let's see where this goes. I suppose there is at least one industry that would benefit from this... the WP writing one haha.

It's really a shame how little the amount of people read white papers as its essentially a blueprint for the entire project (for better or worse). Thanks for sharing!

I have come across a scamster company operating out of India that hasn't published it's whitepaper in pdf form. It has posted what goes for a whitepaper onto Google Drive, and that too in read only mode with download disabled. How do you retrieve the document of such a dubious team for future use when they renege on their promises and indulge in breach of trust?

really nice, Will be very helpful in the future. But its hard work tbh, you need to keep working on it.

Thanks for the support! After I've done some more marketing I'm updating everything again. Luckily there are easy tools for checking broken links, so outdated url's and projects are easily spotted.

according to which index did you do that collection?

coinmarketcap?

yes, I used coinmarketcap. Since there are 10+ projects launched on coinmarketcap everyday, it's tough to keep track of everything. But I'm going to make sure everything is up to date in Q4, after my marketing efforts!

Hi,

I compiled the largest crypto whitepaper database in the world: https://www.allcryptowhitepapers.com/.

With links to almost 1700 projects it's getting quite big. Let me know what you think!
Send me a message via my contact info on the site for partnership opportunities (e.g. https://www.allcryptowhitepapers.com/news/) and backlink exchange.

Cheers,

John

nice so much work, did you do that?

but you have to keep it up to date, the market is very volatile.

Op may have implemented something more automated, so that he won't have to manually update the site to include new whitepapers.

Regardless, that can be implemented in the future if it hasn't been already.

Yeah unfortunately I had to add everything manually. You can automate post and everything, but the content itself still has to be copy/pasted by hand. But that's not a problem if you like what you're building Smiley.
There are definitely steps I can take to automate more things, but that's low priority for the moment. Thanks for the reply and suggestion!

Fair enough,
If you need any help automating, or any opinions on automation, let me know.

This is a great work. I wonder if people are actually reading the whitepapers. Hmm, might be a good idea to include some basic pointers per wp.
Also, I wonder how you plan to scale this up? Thanks

Hi everyone,

As promised, I updated the whitepaper index!

There are now almost 2500 whitepaper-urls in my index > https://www.allcryptowhitepapers.com/whitepaper-overview/. I'm still busy with adding more abstracts, but the urls are there Cheesy.

As per some of your advice, I've also added many whitepaper embeds on the site. This way the original Whitepaper stays preserved on my website, kinda like an archive. Still a lot to go, but it's a start.

Thanks for all your responses & tips!

Hey John, nice to see the "upgrade"! Can't quite recall the original site but this ones looks a bit more organised (25 per page nicely loads) and the individual page (I only looked at WP of the week) has a nice smattering of links and references.

I may be wrong but I'm noticing now a trend of WPs coming after the project, especially now with projects launching but not yet starting their ICOs (guess everyone's into STOs now).

Wonder if you'd ever branch out into non-ICO but crypto-related whitepapers (or just papers). Research pieces, especially from all these advisory firms coming up, platform providers, wallets, exchanges - they all seem to be putting out some kind of paper, just not an ICO (yet).

Thanks a thousand Buwaytress! Apologies for the late response, have to set up my notifications better.

I've noticed the trend, since a lot of projects do not have a whitepaper (yet), whilst their coin is already being traded. However, I only take the whitepapers of the coins that are being traded on coinmarketcap, so that filters out some of the projects that do not have a whitepaper because they are really in an early stage of the development.

So I'm not soleley focussed on ICO whitepapers, just all projects that have a whitepaper/litepaper/blue paper etc. & are being traded already. I agree that you could build an interesting database with research papers etc., but for now I have enough to do with the whitepapers & the continues updates Cheesy.

Thanks again!

John
