Actually, they have a lot to do with each other. They are both smart contract platforms trying to create crypto ecosystems. Of course, NEO is much farther along than ADA but they are competing in the same category along with eth, eos, etc.
The thing is, ADAs future doesn't look bright at all. People were hyped about it for a long time because all of it's tech was peer reviewed by legitimate tech firms. But, in the end, the fact is, the mainet hasn't been released yet and it is plagued with development drama. People say that once it releases, it will overtake eth easily. But I put my bet on NEO, the one that actually works, has penetrated the market, and has a the 2nd largest ecosystem.
