Big investors are buying via OTC methods, their buys don't affect markets as those OTC trades aren't getting counted.

thanks for sharing this link.
i was actually having a debate about this yesterday with a friend of mine that the whales are doing their purchases over the counter for many reasons such as avoiding taxes and leaving a trace behind so that they can increase their privacy and also because they want to keep the price low. and now my theories have a proof too.

Market manipulation at its best,  but even still with the price so low you would have thought that new investors would start to buy and we should at least be seeing small increases in the value not a continued downward trend. If people are also shuting down mining because its no longer profitable then I guess this is another factor of why Bitcoin and other coins are loosing value and not gaining.

Have you done a practical of what you are saying. Go to  a good exchange and place order of your bitcoin, make sure you choose the trending price and see if no body will buy. If nobody buy's bitcoin all the exchange would have shut down.

I am buying  just not in huge volumes to make a differnce in price. This is my point ! Why are other people not buying at such a low cost  its stupid not to. You would have thought that more people would be buying at the current low  price. All the exchanges would not shut down  It would take a while for them to stop wouldent happen overnight.  You would slowly seen a decline like we are seeing with the minning rigs shutting down.
