Hey everyone,

I'm considering buying the https://fenn.systems/ PC for gaming, but I'm also interested in getting into Bitcoin mining on the side. I know gaming PCs aren't usually optimized for mining, but I was wondering if anyone has experience using this build specifically for this purpose in 2024.

How does it handle mining workloads? Is the GPU efficient enough for decent mining returns? Also, any tips on managing energy costs or setup for mining on a gaming rig would be helpful!

Thanks in advance!

You can use your PC only for mining some altcoins. Not BTC.

You cannot mine BTC using a PC. No matter how fast they are they are no longer capable of doing it and have not been for many years.

If you want to get into solo/lottery mining, get yourself a simple ASIC miner such as a Gekko Campac A1 or Compac F or one of the newer BitAxe models. Something that will offer 300-1000GH/s

To be clear no PC is fast enough to mine BitCoin. Period.

Use this list to mine altcoins on your PC and you can get rewarded in bitcoin. On the site I saw computers with liquid cooling, which have a branded assembly and are usually very expensive. I always assemble the PC myself, as it is much cheaper.
Mining profit will depend on your processor and video card, but the profit from 1 processor and 1 video card is not very big now
