We all heard the big news of basis going down today, so it brings into question: what happened?

At the same time, ampleforth (formerly fragments) announced their name change/launch: https://www.ccn.com/crypto-firm-fragments-launches-stablecoin-following-ampleforth-rebrand/

Thoughts on basis and/or ampleforth?

Yea I think ampleforth is the only algorithmic stablecoin standing. Great project that won't be facing the same issues that basis got shut down for.
