The mod of B&H board has been away for too long

The beginners and help board is a very vital board of the forum and rightfully needs to more attention since its mostly for beginners that's means there would be a lot of mistakes or errors from newbies that requires attention from the moderator and delete or move those that are not meant to be there.

I have been noticing unlike other board where the mods comes in at sometimes into threads to share there thought the moderator of the B&H section those not come in so I checked on his profile

The moderator was last active on April 4 2018

I don't know if this is right for a mod to be away for that long.

Or has the forum had a replacement if so they should have indicated by erasing the former mods name with the current mods

I know one is hilarious and co, you can check for the others don the members tab searching by rank (sorry hilarious had to do it that way due to autocorrect).

Then it would be right for there to be a change and a transparent one at that  we cant see a name of a mod up there who's last seen was in April.

It doesn't matter who's name is"up there",what matters is that there are global moderators who handle proceedings in that board and other sections of the forum
And the main reason why threads aren't trashed,moved or locked over there that much is cos of the purpose of the board,its meant to be a starting point for noobs,so the restrictions there are a wee bit reduced,so noobs could learn by asking,not always really nice threads or questions,but you do not expect a genuine noob to be good at first,do you

I don’t think the forum is lacking in moderation power either imo.

Some places in this forum are heavily moderated and it’s an awful place to post. Lightly moderates means moderators spend more time dealing with actual issues rather than making mountains out of mo,shills...

I am not worried neither am I saying  that the board in not being run at a good level all I am pointing out is that it's misleading to have someone name up there as the moderator while there is another moderator it won't hurt any one if the name was change(that if it's actually true that he is no longer the mod)

Not that it's really important but it's right if There should be a bit transparency as to who is the moderator

I don't have any issue with the way moderators are going about there duties.
But take for instant am new here and I am browsing through the board I would conclude that there is no active moderator on the beginners and help board which I know is impossible but it would be right to do an editing to the name and input an active members name

I think the problem is trust. It's hard to find people you trust.
theymos has a number of unsuccessful stories in this area.
