We believe that one day anyone from tech-savvy young people to your average grandparents should be able to easily use cryptocurrency like ETH when and how they want to. Of course, there are quite a few hurdles to overcome before it can become a reality, but it won't happen unless people start working towards it instead of only complaining about why plebs will never "get" crypto. So we created this wallet app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.tipblockchain.kasakasa (currently on Google Play Store, Apple Store version will be coming soon). The current version is the initial MVP release. We'll continue working on adding new features & smoothing out the user experience.

Current MVP features:
- You can register a unique short "crypto" username. It can be anything, as long as it's not yet taken by someone else.
- You can search and add contacts by their short usernames.
- You can send ETH or our native app crypto $TIP to contacts without having to use the standard, long ETH addresses (the app takes care of that for you - simply send using the recipient's short username as address).

In The Works:
- Upload contacts from your phone (similar to other popular social media apps - and why shouldn't we crypto people have these nice things?).
- Invite contacts who are not yet using the app to join.
- Encrypted chat messenger.
- In-chat transactions - send & receive ETH while chatting with a contact, all within the same chat screen (so you can ask that friend to pay you back the 0.35 ETH they owe you from 6 months ago...).
- Adding select ERC20 tokens.

Your concept is interesting. You want to make it more easier upon sending coins and receiving coins by the use of a short username. I also experience it, when I am sending ethereum coin to my brother, it is hassle to type all the numbers and letters for the address and the risk is big if you mistype it. I hope you will succeed.

Your concept is good, although we can already send supported crypto to other users in coinbase. I don’t remember seeing a feature whereby we can access our phone book. Good luck to your project.
