By the evening of July 11, the price of bitcoin on WEX reached 8 999 dollars, while on other sites it was kept around $6200 — 6400. It is noteworthy that in 2014 Mt. Gox experienced the same thing.

The future of the exchange
To this day, the situation with the withdrawal of currencies, prohibitively large commissions and floating exchange rate has not stabilized. Exactly as the fate of the exchange itself is unknown. After rumors of a transfer of possession of the militia DND Vasilyev did not appear in the media headlines. And only in early August, he made a scandalous confession in an interview with the owner of the exchange Kuna Mikhail Chobanyan, where he revealed the details of what happened, calling the main actor of a person directly related to the Russian government and the potential removal of Pavel Durov from the management of the social network Vkontakte.

However, the issue of returning the hung user funds has not yet been resolved, as can be seen from the negative messages in the Wex chat and denouncing posts on the Bitcointalk branch.

Perhaps the specifics will appear on the cruise, where Vasiliev promises an open dialogue with guests who have accumulated a lot of questions.
