This is an example I have come across:

Block #11074
https://blockexplorer.com/block/00000000fbae0ea1463f91f203f393ca3a96daadb531f57304d5698901650521

It shows 50 BTC being sent to an address: 19vhPMtzq2RnrTUQWxqmio4SfvMbGvbpJ8

Clicking the address shows no transaction history for the address

What am I missing?

you aren't missing anything, it is a problem (a bug) with blockexplorer.com database that doesn't show that address for some reason. maybe they haven't indexed it!
but if you check the same block and address on another block explorer you can see the address shows the appropriate balance. for example on blockchain.com:
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/19vhPMtzq2RnrTUQWxqmio4SfvMbGvbpJ8

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Oh wow. I guess I should have double checked on a different block explorer before asking this question.

Thank you for your help
