Other Cryptocurrencies will continue to exist alongside Bitcoin just as other fiats exist along with the Dollar.
No need to eliminate other Cryptocurrencies in the name of fighting so called S*tcoins..
Crypto Maximalism or whatever it's called makes no sense. Different brands of thesame technology/products can exist together. Apple for example started the modern touchscreen phone but it didn't try to eliminate Samsung or other Android phones because they share similar features. It's against competition and free market.
Crypto world will encourage Free Market better than any country on Earth.

Bitcoin can't be become the daily payment system for a lot of people at the same time and it's not enough scalable. it will be suitable to become the crypto to store our value. I guess that the bitcoin has been doing it and so many people are saving their value through bitcoin and USDT. No need to remove other coin but just pick those coins are useful for us.
I agree with you Bitcoin is not that much scalable to handle daily transaction by the masses and it's better store of the value. We need the other cryptocurrency on the other hand which are scalable to hand the mass transaction when cryptocurrency will hit mainstream. Very soon in future we will be seeing domination of cryptocurrency on the online payments. Dollars is the world's currency and most of the foreign trades by numerous countries carried out with the dollar only.
