I've been lurking in these forums for just a little while now but I already feel a little crazier!  The Speculation forum in particular makes me wake up in a cold sweat every morning.  And I see images of Dorian everywhere I look!

New to BTC and cryptocurrency in general but very interested and I think it is the future.  My only question is how far away is that future?  1-2 years or 5-10 years?  I don't see it taking longer than that.  I still consider myself an early adopter.  I bought my first immediately after Mt. Gox crashed because I knew I was getting a deal at $540 a pop.  Unfortunately I also had my first panic buy at $700 during the peak last week.  Oh well!  Interesting community and I've turned my Reddit from random crap to basically an altcoin forum.  I also have an idea in the works that will probably take ~6 months to get off the ground.  I'll be doing more research into that and trying to understand the community a little better while I'm here.

The future is probably in 2 years or even less. Right now it stopped being some program that geeks put their money in and started to be recognized around the world. Before that, most people didn't care and they weren't taking cryptocurrencies seriously.

Oh, we're hell bent on mining every single bitcoin while we're alive plus we'll fix any bugs, then resume mining as if nothing happened.

The price is a whole different story as far as the future is concerned.....

Go on and try to develop it, bitcoin is a young market and new ideas, linking this virtual world with the real world can only make benefit to the cryptocurrency...

Thanks folks!

Starcraft was too long ago.  I was only down with the original Starcraft, and I was terrible at it, so no I wasn't referring to that.

But seriously, how can I play Starcraft vs. someone and within 1 minute I'm wiped out.  How do they do that?

As for my idea, I agree that things will be taking off.  I think there are big opportunities here.  Unfortunately I'm just not good enough to create professional products (web & physical products).  So that's my biggest obstacle.  I'll have to do some outsourcing most likely.  But no Biggie (get it, get it?)

Regarding Starcraft, some people just spend too much time playing it.
