UEFA EURO 2020 - Qualifiers!

Today is the start of qualifying for the European Football Championship 2020 which will be maintained in 12 different countries, which is something what will be done for the first time in history of this competition. In total 55 national teams will participate in this qualifications, and from them only 20 will be qualifying ( first two from 10 groups) with the addition of 4 more teams from UEFA Nations League (in total 24 teams).

All games for Matchday 1 here, and also all qualifying matches.

As a relatively safe favorite personally I see : Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland., These are paper favorites, but also some of the great teams from last World Cup in Russia.

Your added image on the OP is just a complete list of the team in alphabet order, so it would be nice if you can add image of the participants per group so people can start predicting based on the group stage qualification.
Here is my favorite teams based on the group stage qualification:

Group A: England & Czech Rep
Group B: Portugal & Serbia
Group C: Germany & Netherlands
Group D: Denmark & Swiss
Group E: Croatia & Wales
Group F: Spain & Sweden
Group G: Poland & Austria
Group H: France & Iceland/Turkey
Group I: Belgium & Russia
Group J: Italy & Bosnia/Greece

I didn't realize that there were so many nations joining UEFA EURO 2020. England, Germany, and Spain would be my best bet to get pass through qualifiers.

People around here don't really care much about EURO, its all about the world cup and champions league.  Just like how Manchester United barely cares about the FA cup, they are only after the league title and champions league.

What is going on? Has the team changed the players to each others? I mean Scotland is playing wearing Kazakhstan's jersey 🙂

From what I can see Scotland is playing with some of their best players so there is nothing wrong with their team. I think this scenario is very similar to what happened at World Cup where Russia knocked out Spain and had a great performance against Croatia. That's because they were playing in their country, on the stadium with their fans which obviously was a huge advantage for them. Same thing we can say here, where Kazakhstan is very motivated probably by their fans.
