OBSERVATIONS WITH SOME IEO'S

A friend shared this interesting observation about most of the IEO's that I found very interesting and decided to share.

We will base our assumption on $400, let say you have $400 and $100 was invested on each token.

We will analyse based on two parameters;
✔ IEO
✔ ATL

If you had bought at IEO and sold yesterday when I did this analysis. Here is what will happen.

Value at IEO

FET: 40
BTT: 142
CELR: 118
MATIC: 468

Total: 768

By implication, you would have turned $400 to $768. That's 92% ROI.

Profit: $368✔

A30 means after 30 days, if Chris had bought at IEO price and sold after 30 days.

Value at IEO

FET: 50
BTT: 155
CELR: 118
MATIC: 490

Total: 813

He would have turned $400 to $813. That's 103.25% ROI in a period of 30 days.

His profit would be $413.

If Chris had missed IEO, intentionally or not. And he's got only $400 to invest, then picked up these four tokens at ATL.

If he had sold everything yesterday, this is what will happen to him.

BTT: 212.5
CELR: 185.71
MATIC: 733.33

Total: 1291.54

By implication, he would have turned $400 to $1,291.54. That's 222.88% ROI in a period of 3 months.

Chris' profit would be $891.54

He could withdraw his capital and continue his journey in financial market.

After going through this analysis it looked very interesting that I decided to seek more input. What do you think? Could it be said that most IEO's follow this pattern? If they do, what factors do we think are responsible? Finally can traders rely on this strategy in their trading and would it have any significant effect on the success or failure of IEO's?

You are talking about projects that were launched in the binance platforms only, that will have a different result when you are using IEO from another exchange site too. Most of IEOs follow that pattern (Major IEO platform like BNB and OKEX)
The traders can use that strategy when it comes to participating in IEO that launched in the major exchange only. To participate in the small exchange site's IEO is not recommended. It would not have a significant impact on the IEO consider the team has got what already planned.

You are simply referring to very successful IEOs and most of them belong to Binance. Binance's purchase of IEO is very difficult and limited in number of purchases. Having lots of IEOs after exchanging them has caused a lot of losses for investors. So IEO investment is always looking for hidden risks, not always making profits as you dream.

and the point is people who want to invest on IEO, should think about the risk too, right ?
because a lot of people just follow the hype on IEO especially on binance launchpad, then they forgot to think about the risk

I think we all looking through the prison of investing during IEO, most of us have not taken note of the buying at ATL. That to me looks a Lil safer for traders

Hmmp, did your analysis combined from all our exchanges that launched an IEO? But i would assume that you only make an analysis based on the performance of a top performing exchange site for example binance, but i would say at least, that investing in IEO so far is working best, specially when it held in Binance or on the top performing site, but it differs on every site, at the end of the day, it all depends in our individual method on how you execute your plan.

Well, some IEOs have performed far better than others. Bgogo, Gate, OKEx, BW and Binance have the best IEOs and there's 90 percent chance of making over 200 percent returns on investment within the first thirty days of launch

The first coins, the first ICO, the first IEO are the most successful. This must be considered.
If we could know where ATL is, we would not need to participate in IEO.

Very limited coins only, I suggest you make a comparison on per exchange as well, that would give idea to people where to invest.
Also, kindly consider ONE, I heard this is the most profitable of all the IEO coins in Binance.

A better presentation as well would be appreciated.

Most of these coins are IEO projects from Binance but then, generally, IEO projects from blog exchanges like Binance and Okex has further restored the confidence of the cryptocurrency community because of their high ROI

I won't complain on how few the coins you have made for your observation. But to be honest, I'm moved on how you gathered those data and you should make it better by making it as a table.

You can create an image table or you can setup a table through your thread just like what you can see on the overview of signature campaigns. In that case, you'll make your observation better by just looking at the stats through that table.

While I may agree with your assessment as I've benefitted from IEOs, I wouldn't base my strategy on such a fickle note as it could be disastrous as IEOs gain more popularity.
When ICOs made waves, there were bigger turnouts and profits too but a lot of projects have gone silent.
I personally love to see my investment make an impact in the quest to bring the blockchain closer to mass adoption so I invest mostly in projects with real, practical use cases.

all depends on how the exchange choose a project to conduct an IEO in their exchange mate
just look at to binance launchpad, most of IEO project that run on binance launchpad always bring a good profit to their early investors wich mean IEO contributors buddy
but people should learn about the project before investing is the right way to reduce the risk of investing on IEO

If an IEO project in top exchanges, it is understandable to earn a high profit, but not everyone can invest in those projects because the competition rate is difficult and very difficult to buy. Until now, i have only participated in 3 IEO projects, TOP, FET, NEW and it brings a lot of money to me and i am very happy during that time but other recent projects are difficult more because this investment trend is gaining popularity worldwide and very few people have tickets to participate in good projects

When you are not speculators and you will definitely say if that was a bad thing but for those have earned more than 10x return for their investment and they will say the opposite thing. IEO gives more guarantees than ico and that looks better even exchange site was taking a little fee but that's not a big deal.
As long as the platform can be trusted and i have no problem with it.

I don't say that IEO are bad. I only say that they are bad as Ico. Someone also earned a lot with Ico as well... But the trend is to give an angel face to IEO because big exchanges promotes them. They only do it form money, so there's no guarantee that the project is reliable. In the past I invested in projects that had incredible staff, and bla bla bla.... fake news, anyone can build a feke reputation on Linkedin, they don't verify you, you can write you are a president of an unknown president, you can drive a Ferrari and have 100 properties... So just don't rely to words. I also don't believe on Coins that have big guys or Managers behind... This is not a guarantee of success, but in my opinion is even worst as big guys if d not earn money immediately they give up. Dreamers and people that wants to change their life, could potentially do much better.

but only exchanges that have large trading volumes are capable of making IEO prices get a pump like that, so usually there will be a lot of investor support when binance enters the IEO.
